Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Panels.
With higher efficiency and lower material costs, the fitting of PV panels is now a very attractive option for a lot of people, to both reduce energy bills and carbon footprint and of course increase revenue through government feed in tariffs (FIT).
PV modules use daylight to generate electricity, so the system will work all year round, even on cloudy days.
We supply MCS approved product which is essential to access the Government Feed In Tariff scheme, further to this we also have MCS approved installers to give you a full supply and fit package.
Reliable technology and minimal system maintenance gives performance guarantees of up to 25 years.
Using flat plate collectors or evacuated tubes, solar thermal systems use heat from the sun to produce domestic hot water. In most cases a 2.25m2 panel is enough to produce up to 70% of your domestic hot water requirement annually.
Integrates easily with conventional heating systems including combination boilers when utilising additional products such as the Grant CombiSOL. Larger or multiple panels can be used for larger cylinders, heating swimming pools or hot tubs.
Collectors such as those provided by Velux can be very unobtrusive as they are made in standard Velux window sizes and fit into the roof the same way as a Velux window.
